This page has been setup in loving memory of our beautiful Wife and Mum Sandy. May her legacy and memory live on through our hearts and the hearts of her grandchildren.

Those who had the honour of knowing Sandy, will know the love given by her was unique. The love she radiated to her family, close friends and pets was a gift, a natural ability. She would always put others before herself, especially when it came to her husband, children and grandchildren.

Sandy also had an overwhelming love for animals. Up until she fell unwell in 2018 and had to stop working, she was regularly helping (and falling in love with) the stray cats and kittens which had found shelter behind her place of work in The Watling Avenue. Even the trapped family of rats found in the bins touched her heart! She was forever in contact with a local cat welfare charity, helping them to gather up and rehome homeless cats and kittens. She could never bear the thought of any animal being homeless, hungry or mistreated, which is why she regularly donated to animal charities throughout her life.

As Sandy cared so much for animals it only felt right to set up this page, where her family and friends could pay tribute in her memory by making donations to Brooke, a charity for working horses and donkeys. We have chosen Brooke as Sandy supported this charity the longest and was closest to her heart.

Sandy will never realise just how many hearts she touched throughout her life and how much her love and compassion was felt by everyone around her. She will be missed deeply but the love she gave us all will be forever held in our hearts and she will never be forgotten.
